She was also predeceased by her siblings, David Newman, Nell Wixson, and Porter David Newman. The strong bonds she formed with her family helped guide her through life’s joys and challenges.

For 63 years, Ann shared a devoted marriage with her beloved husband, Robert Mace. Their partnership was a source of inspiration not only to their loved ones but to all who witnessed the abiding love and mutual respect that flourished between them. Their lives together were enriched by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren they so dearly loved—each one, a testament to Ann’s nurturing spirit and compassionate heart.

Ann is survived by her husband, Robert, and a loving family that includes sons: Sean Mace, Matt (Monica) Mace; grandchildren: Emily Mace, Rachel Lukins, Zachary (Maddison) Mace; great-grandchildren: Ambrose Mace, Deacon Mace, Nova Winkler; sisters: Mary Fritz, Martha Caldwell, Louise Payne, and Virginia Braxton. The love and wisdom she imparted to them will remain a guiding light in their lives.

A woman of many passions, Ann was an avid reader who delighted in the world of books, finding knowledge, comfort, and adventure within their pages. Her reverence for nature found expression in her love of hummingbirds and flowers, which brought daily joy and wonder to her life. Her home and garden reflected the vibrant beauty she saw in the world around her.

Central to Ann’s life was her deep and abiding faith. She read the Bible daily and held a steadfast belief and love in the Lord, living out her convictions through kindness, generosity, and integrity. Her unwavering spirituality provided strength and comfort not only to herself but to those she loved.

Above all, Ann cherished her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply, celebrating all the milestones and moments, both big and small, with warmth and pride. She was an anchor for her family, offering understanding, encouragement, and unwavering support.
