Bertha M. Conley, 66, passed away May 9, 2014 at her home in Akron. She was born November 8, 1947 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Eddie H. and Mary E. Burdette. Her most cherished role was as a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her loving husband, William R. Conley, brother, Donald Burdette and brother, Ronald Burdette. She is survived by son, Harold "Mike" (Lillian) Millican, daughter, Michelle (Fred) Bowman, sister, Nina (Ervin) Stephens, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Friends and family may call from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
