Bernice Aronhalt

Bernice T. Aronhalt ( Tyrrell ), 89, of Akron, transitioned into her heavenly home on October 7,2015. She was born on January 31, 1926, Akron , Ohio to William and Irene Tyrrell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years James E. Aronhalt; parents, William and Irene Tyrrell; brothers, William, Thomas, Ralph, Elwood, Gerald, Roy; sister, Denelda .

Bernice is survived by her sons, James (Neta ) Aronhalt of Akron, OH; Gary (Christine) Aronhalt of Hartville, OH; 6 grandchildren , 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Bernice had an interesting point of view and often shared it. She attended Mogadore United Methodist Church.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. funeral service to follow, at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Rd. Akron,OH 44305 , with Rev. Gary A. Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice Care Center of your choice. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park 3653 W. Market St.,Akron, OH 44333.
