Belinda L. Eckenrode, 65, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2014. She was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on June 1, 1949. Belinda formerly worked at Weaver Industries in Tallmadge and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1967. She had a feisty spirit which helped her to thrive during difficult times.
Belinda is survived by her Mother, Frances Eckenrode, Sister, Donna (Bill) Anderson, Sister, Lori (Todd) Gualandri, and many dear friends and family. She was preceded in death by her Father, Don Eckenrode.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305. A graveside service will be at Tallmadge Cemetery at 10:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Church of Christ Youth Fellowship Fund, 1235 Broad Blvd,Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
