Barry McBurney, of Doylestown, passed away on November 14, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 11, 1944. Barry loved remodeling, building, puzzles and reading books. He retired from the University of Akron after 30 plus years of service. Barry was a loving grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda. He is survived by his children, Amber (Steve Shiltz) Cunningham, and James (Kristy) Haag; grandchildren, David, Savannah, Brooklynn, Mitchell and Kesten; siblings, Sandy McBurney McGee, Brenda Johnson and Donald McBurney; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday November 19, 2016 from 10-12pm with the funeral service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Rev. George Shiltz officiating.
