Barbara E. Smith

Barbara E. Smith, 79, of Akron, passed away on November 17, 2024. She was born on December 24, 1944 the daughter of Virginia Wilson of Akron, Ohio. Barbara loved and devoted her life to her family especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Wilson; beloved husband Charles Smith; daughter Bonnie Marshall; granddaughter Destiny Spore; and brother Ronald Schlegel.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Lorena Treadway, and Cathy (Keith) Miner; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Bill (Debbie) Schlegel; sister Doris Ward; special Aunt Paula Stewart; and many other relatives.

Cremation will take place and there will be no services.
