Barbara Joan Collier

Barbara Joan Collier, 82, of Mogadore, passed away on November 12, 2025. Born on November 3, 1943, in Belleville, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Strang. Barbara dedicated over 40 years of her life to nursing as a registered nurse, making a lasting impact on many lives through her compassionate care.

An enthusiastic crafter, Barbara found joy in cross stitching and diamond painting, and she cherished the time spent nurturing her garden and growing beautiful flowers.

She will be deeply missed by her beloved sons, David (Ashley) Collier and Timothy (Angie) Collier; her sister, Carol (Roger) Veillette; her cherished grandchildren, David Jr., Alyssa, Jackson, Carson, Blake, Wesley, and Colton; and her great-granddaughter, Paisley.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Strang Jr.

In accordance with Barbara's wishes, there will be no services, and cremation has taken place.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Akron General for the compassionate care provided to Barbara during her final month, a place where she dedicated many years of her own service.
