Barbara A. Burns

Barbara A. Burns (Dye), age 70, of Wadsworth, OH, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026 surrounded by family. She was ready for her eternal beach vacation.

Barb was born on June 3, 1955 to Virginia and Jack Dye. She graduated from Wadsworth High School where she was a lifelong resident. She worked for the Post Office more than 34 years with most of her time in the Wadsworth office. You may have seen her smiling face at the window.

Barb was an amazing wife, mother, Mamaw, sister, and friend to all that knew her.

Barb is survived by husband, Steve Burns; daughter, Nikki Nagy (Andrew); son, Chris Burns (Jen); daughter, Stephanie Vandenbrink; grandchildren, Brena, Lincoln, Cooper, Kaleb, Megan, Maggie, and Hank; sister, Jackie Sprigg (Joe); sister-in-law, Sherry Dye; nephew, Cody Abbott; great-niece, Ellie Abbott; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia & Jack Dye and brother, Jim Dye.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
