Barbara Ann Brown

Barbara Ann Brown was born January 10, 1952 to Pearl and Harry Channell in Elkins WV. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1970. She married Robert Brown in 1975 and resided in the Akron area the rest of her life. She had one child, her son Daniel. Barb will be forever missed by her family including 7 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. One word to remember her by would be, she was a “fighter” who fought her health problems to the very end. The family would like to thank the immediate family who helped care for Barb and the numerous nurses and Drs who cared for her the last few years.

Barb worked for many companies in the Akron area including Acme Click, Telxon, Diebold, Courtview and Signet. She enjoyed yard work and staying busy, and especially her big tractor! She was an excellent cook that the whole family got to enjoy at get togethers. She always had company at her side by way of fury pets who loved being spoiled.

There will be no funeral services at her request. Her final resting place will be at Western Reserve Cemetery where she will await her husband Robert.
