Barbara A. Boyes, 71, passed away on August 15, 2014.
Barbara will be remembered as a very classy lady who was never afraid to speak her mind. She enjoyed shopping. Barbara was a loving caregiver to many. She will be missed by her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter Boyes and her parents, Carl and Caroline Chapman. Survivors include sons, James Leverton and John (Amy) Brown; daughter, Rebecca (Steve) Smelko; grandchildren, Brittany, Bonnie, Kaylee, Dawson, and Kassie; brother, David (Joanne) Chapman; and sister, Bonnie (Paul) Salyer. Special thanks to Barbara's cousin, Jill Helms and the Hospice Care Center for their care and support .
Calling hours will be Saturday, September 13, 12 p.m.-2 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
