Arnold Summers (Bud)
Arnold passed away September 1, 2012 at the age of 82. He was born in Ovapa, West Virginia and lived most of his life in Springfield Township. He did construction work, taking care of his seven children and wife. His passion was auto racing. He built and consulted on race cars with family and friends up to his final day of passing. He taught his sons and grandsons the same passion.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Mildred; his children, Arnold (Marsha) of Newcomerstown, Charles of Akron, David (Wanda) of Princeton, WV, Sandra England (John) of Akron, Donald of Akron, Edward (Tori) of Akron, Kathy Chambliss (John) of Cuyahoga Falls. He also leaves his two brothers, three sisters, nieces, nephews, fourteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday September 5 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday September 6 from 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a 1:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Bob Fleming officiating will be held on Thursday. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
