Annetta M. Mcgaffney

Annetta "Anne" M. McGaffney, affectionately known as Grandma PTL, 91, of Brecksville, passed away November 8, 2016. Anne was born in Summitville, Ohio on December 20, 1924 to the late George and Gertrude Philpott. She was always an example of Christ's love and spent her life pointing others to Jesus. Whether she had much or little...it was all about Him.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her son, Mark McGaffney, and brothers, Dewayne Philpott and George Philpott.

She is survived by children, Janice M. Vaccarino, Sally Snavely, Donna Johnson, David (Karen) McGaffney; grandchildren, Christine (Andrew) Budd, Lisa (Jason) DiLauro, Laura Evans, Bobby Snavely, Timmy (Donna) Snavely, Annie Hannan, Tammy (Ron) Dick, Patrick Quotson, Michael (Carrie) Quotson, Ken Quotson, Nicole (Eric) Carrig, Jen Quotson, David (Kathi) Grey, Tim (Chloe) Grey, Robyn (Josh) Jancha, Stephen McGaffney, and Mary Elizabeth McGaffney; 36 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where memorial services will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Scott Souders officiating.
