Anna N. Wenning
Anna N. Wenning, 96, passed away on January 16, 2005. Anna was born in Akron on April 10, 1908. She was the owner of the Mustill Store, which is now a national landmark. She later worked as a stenographer for Ace Rubber. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; brother, Samuel J. Nelson, Sr.; and nephew, Samuel J. Nelson, Jr. She is survived by her great-nephew, Samuel J. Nelson III and his daughter, Ashley Lynn Nelson. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Joseph Serbin officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
