Anna M. Skorich

Anna M. Skorich, age 90, of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on April 27, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1934 to the late Enos and Clara Gray in Gauley, WV.

Anna met the love of her life, Emil, in 1963 and together they lived in the Ohio area for most of their lives together.

She had a true love for all kinds of animals. Above all though, she cherished her children and grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her loving children, Glen (Amanda) Ervin and Mary (Robert) Owens; grandchildren, Kim and Bobby Owens, Justin, Christina, Tonya, Stephanie, Vanessa and Glen Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kailianna and Zai'Aire; as well as other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil, in 2023; daughter, Debbie Wood; as well as eleven siblings.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305) on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4pm until 8pm. Her Funeral Service will be held the following day on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:30am. She will then be laid to rest with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
