Anna Rose Pisanelli

Anna Rose Pisanelli, 84, went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2014. She was born in Akron, OH on July 21, 1929 to the late Dominic and Adeline Santoferraro. Nita loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, cooking, and serving the Lord through her church. She was a beautiful and loving person who was loved by all.
Nita was preceded in death by her husband, Julius; brother, Vincent and great-granddaughter, Tiana.
She is survived by her sons, Philip (Ellen), Danny (Marlene), Michael (Barbara); daughters, Juliane, Maria (Don) Krumlauf; grandchildren, Mark, Tina, Gabriella, Dominic, Danielle, Jason, Anthony, Amy, Amanda, Anna, Lucas; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Olive, Erela, Otto, Sofia and Emilia; brother, Cecil (Josephine) Santoferraro.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Maseelall, Dr. Elizabeth Baum and the wonderful staff who helped care for Anna at Bethany Nursing Home in Canton, OH. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne St., Akron, OH 44312. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
