Angela Diane Perella was born July 1st 1969 and passed away July 9th 2015, eight days after celebrating her 46th birthday. On that day she joined family members that predeceased her who are with their Heavenly Father. Angela was made new by God, who welcomed her along with her father Ronald Perella, paternal grandparents Albert & Mary Perella, paternal Uncle Joe Perella and Aunt Connie Perella, maternal grandparents Gasper & Amelia Soppi, and maternal Step-Father Thomas Kunkel.
Cherishing the memory of Angela will be her 2-children; daughter Tylor Tona and son Thomas Tona, her mother Suzanne Kunkel, brother, sister-in-law, and their little boy, Dominic Perella, Jessica Perella, & Niccolo Perella, paternal step-mother Stephanie Perella, paternal Uncle Manny & Aunt Jean Perella, maternal Uncle Mike & Aunt Helen Soppi, maternal Uncle Tony & Aunt Rose Soppi, and many, many cousins.
Angela also had many, many friends. This was immediately evident in the outpouring of prayers, support and emotion after the emergency which culminated in her passing. Angela was a great friend to those that loved her; she had a VERY outgoing personality, was never judgmental toward others, and will be missed by many, many people. Recently these words were written of Angela: She was said to be "the funniest friend I've ever had" and she was "loved more than anything". Those that lost Angela lost "my Best friend in the whole world … I WILL MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU THE REST OF MY LIFE!" and many "hearts are broken".
We are all grateful for the 46 years + 8 days we had Angela here with us, and take comfort in knowing she is now at peace. Angela had strong faith in God and gave her life over to Him some 15-years ago. "If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit which dwells in you".
A memorial service for Angela will be held on Thursday, July 16th, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with Father Norm Douglas officiating. Cremation will take place and a private inurnment will be held.
