Andrew John Tibus Sr.
Andrew John Tibus Sr, 83, of Akron OH passed away peacefully on February 4, 2017. He was born in Passaic, New Jersey on September 18, 1933 to Andrew & Mary Tibus. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Clifton, NJ. Andy was employed by Curtiss Wright–Farris Engineering for the last 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Janet; stepson, Mike larossi; sons, Andrew Jr. and John; his granddaughter Chrislynn; nieces Darlene & Donielle; nephew Charles Jr. and sister-in-law Helen.
Memorial service will be held Saturday February 11, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH 44305. A memorial service begins at 2 p.m.
