Amy L. Johnson

Amy Lynn Johnson, 41, of Springfield (Akron), passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on October 1, 1984 at Akron City Hospital. She attended the Manchester School System and graduated in 2003.

Amy was a former employee of PRC Medical LLC, where she worked as a registration verification analyst for her last 10 years.

She enjoyed cooking and baking for family, relatives, and friends. She was a devoted mother to her two children and had a faithful love for her partner, Justin.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Denise (Adams) Johnson.

Amy is survived by her loving father, Eric Johnson; children, Jace and Jordan; partner, Justin; sister, Erin Gilmore; nieces, Alli and Adalyn; aunt, Jean; and cousin, Scott.

She is now reunited with her loving grandmother, Dorothy Johnson, cracking their jokes on the rest of us.

Amy will be remembered by her sweet and easy going disposition, lovely smile, and her willingness to help others in any way possible.

May Amy rest in eternal peace, healthy, free of pain, and with the ones she loved and loved her.

A private service will be held at the Messiah Lutheran Church for family.
