Amanda McKeown-Freeman

Amanda McKeown-Freeman, 34, of Canton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on July 22, 2025. She was born on January 19, 1991 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Karen McKeown. She graduated from Ellet High School in 2010.

Mandy was a devoted Christian throughout her life. She was most recently a longtime member of Evermore Community Church. She was a loving and dedicated mother and wife, and she cherished her family deeply.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son on March 2, 2019, Milo; aunt, Jerry McKeown; and uncle, Neil Wilkinson.

Left to cherish Mandy’s memory are her husband of 14 years, James Freeman; children, Eli, Sophia, Brysen, Casper, and Casilo; siblings, Anthony (Lana) McKeown, Heather Lopez, Jason McKeown, Justin McKeown, and Ashley Wilkinson; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Evermore Community Church and to the staff at Aultman Compassionate Care for all of their care and assistance.
