Alma "Abe" M. Joseph, 88, passed away on October 9, 2014.
He was born on June 29, 1926 in Morgantown, WV. Abe was a coal miner for 13 years and later moved the family to Ohio where he retired from Logan Metal Stampings. He enjoyed gardening, fishing in Nags Head, NC. He won many awards for his great catches.
Preceded in death by his wife, Alma J. Joseph; and many siblings.
Survivors include son, James (Rita); daughter, Carolyn (Ramon Luna) McCardle; grandchildren, Tony (Julie), Michael (Theresa), Bill (Melissa), and Tracy; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral services will take place in Blacksville, WV with burial at Olive Cemetery.
