Alice L. Velimirovich, 88, passed away July 1, 2014 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; brother, Frank Jr.; and sisters, Verna and Ethel.
She is survived by son, James (Avis) Walkley; daughters, Amy Velimirovich, Pauli Hubbard, Nancy (Tom) Sampson, Kathy Velimirovich, Emily (Gary) Vestal; grandchildren, Gwen, Brandy, Samantha, David, Christina, Desirae; great-grandchildren, Ben, Brendan, Breyonnah, Dillon, Jackson, Carmen, Bryan, and Jacob; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at First E.C. Church, 369 E. Woodsdale Ave., Akron, OH 44301. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
