Alberta H. "Bertie" Mealy, 97, passed peacefully at her home with family October 7, 2017. Born in Pottstown, PA, a resident of Uniontown, OH for 63 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ernest; son, Vince; and granddaughter, Alanna. Bertie is survived by her sons, Fred (Cindy) and David; grandchildren, Jeff (Jill), Stephen (Colleen), Rachel, Maria, and Jared; great-grandchildren, Freddie and Henry; and daughter-in-law, Janet.
Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30am on Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Matthew Church, 2580 Berne St., Akron, OH. Visitation following mass.
