Adolph Urdiales

August 29, 1929 — October 11, 2015

Adolph Urdiales "Pancho" "Honey" with fishing pole in hand took his journey to heaven on Oct. 11th, 2015. Born in Akron, Ohio on Aug. 24th, 1929, from the age of 2 he grew up in Monterrey Mexico till he took the journey back to Akron at the age of 15 where he graduated from Howard High School in 1948. In 1950 he enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1953 due to an injury. In coming back from the Army, Adolph worked his early year's at Akron Standard Mold, then went on to work at B.F.Goodrich Chemical division in 1969 as a machinist. He was a union member and retired in 1994.

Adolph is preceded in death by his parents, Adolfo and Mercedes Urdiales; brothers, Rudolpho, Dario, Anthony, and John; sisters, Benita, Ortencia and Cecilia; son, Donald. Adolph is survived by his cherished wife of 48 years, Mary Ann Urdiales; son, John Urdiales; daughters, Denise Urdiales and Judi Urdiales Rogers(Jay); beloved sister, Alicia Roush; his six grandchildren, John Michael, James Mathew, Jessica, Jennifer, Joshua, and Lacey; 13 great-grandchildren; all his nieces and nephews were his "favorites";many great-nieces and nephews, many neighbors and special friend, Goldy; last but not least, his constant companion and four-legged friend, "Spick."

Adolph was a kind hearted man, who never met a stranger. He touched everyone's heart and always giving of himself! He loved playing the guitar, the Cleveland Brown's, fishing with family and friends, and taking long drives with his wife thru the countryside! Life to Adolph was to be cherished along with his family whom always came first! Adolph loved with an open heart and that love leaves a memory that will always be in our soul!

Adolph will be in our family's hearts forever more, and will never be forgotten!
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again! We love you my Honey!
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Hospice Care Center for the care they gave to Adolph.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral service will be held Friday at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. David Halaiko officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask you to take a moment to hug your loved ones, take time to cherish your surroundings, and love life in it's fullest! Time waits for no one!
