Milburn Lloyd "Chuck" Moffit
1947 - 2023

Milburn L. "Chuck" Moffit passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 76. He was born to Gilbert and Frances Moffit on March 25, 1947 in Akron, Ohio. He retired from Parker Hannifin as a machinist after 42 faithful years. He married the love of his life, Gloria, on June 3, 1967 in Akron. He loved to fish, bowl, hunt, golf and restore cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed Lay's potato chips while watching westerns. He loved dogs and cats, especially Inkie. Family was most important to him and get togethers with them were at the top of the list. He was a provider to his family and was strong until the very end. His family will love and miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Moffit; and grandsons, Lenny Fair and Michael Sherman.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Gloria Moffit; children, Dennis (Dionna), David (Michael Schroyer), Sheila and Tammy (Michael Sherman, Sr.) Moffit; grandchildren, Cameron (Jamie), DJ and Michael; and great-grandson, Ryker; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 10:30am - 12:30pm with a funeral service to follow. Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made payable to Gloria Moffit.
