Evelyn F. "Judy" Fry passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on November 9, 1931 in Swanmore, England to Thomas "Jock" (a famous WWII Royal Navy Seaman) and Daisy Lamont. She was married to Bernard Fry on March 26, 1955 in St. John's Church, Purbrook, England. Bernard's career as an aeronautical engineer brought them to Canada in 1959 and they settled in the United States in 1963, becoming US citizens in 1972. They found their final home with David and Ann in Copley, Ohio. Judy was a wonderful English gardener and created beautiful gardens at all of her homes. She was a longtime member of PEO. Her favorite times were when the family would gather together at home.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bernard Fry and was a loving mother to her four children, David (Ann), Peter (Aidan), Jennifer (Richard) Campion and Virginia Fry (Marc Reed); and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Robert, Michael, William and Sarah.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by siblings, Joan, Edward and Agnes.

Per her wishes, there are no formal visitation or funeral services. Cremation has taken place and it is planned for her remains to be interred at The Memorial Garden at St. John's Church. A Celebration of Life is pending and details will be made available as they are finalized.

The family invites you to sign the online guest book and leave a fond memory.
