Patricia A. "Patty" Scott, 60, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 16, 2023. She lived her life with integrity, honesty, and professionalism. Patty was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on December 18, 1962 to the late Ruth Ann and William Rowlands.
Patty graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1981, and Kent State University in 1988.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Harry "Bill" and Ruth Ann Rowlands; brother Doug Rowlands, brothers-in-law Alan Scott, Vernon, James and Glenn Howe, and Raleigh Gosser, sisters-in-law Evelyn Milhoan, Judy (Spensar) Kraige, Trudy Laslo; and niece Sarah McCartney.
Patty is survived by her husband of 27 years, Tom Scott, and son Jacob Scott, both of Akron. Also, survived are brothers Larry Rowlands, Jim (Chris) Rowlands, Harry Finigan; sisters Gail (Mike) Carome, Barb (Rick) Frecka; brother-in-law Mark Milhoan, Robert Laslo; sisters-in-law Della Rowlands, Pat Gosser, Candace Lee, Maureen and Barb Howe along with many nieces, nephews and fellow teachers, administrators, and students whom she loved dearly at Betty Jane CLC, Akron.
