In Memory Of
Emily Ann Yount
1953 - 2023

Emily Yount, 69, of Green, formerly of Suffield, went home to God on March 10, 2023 after a short but tough battle with cancer. Emily was born on May 31, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to the late Gerald and Jeannette "Lucille" Toman.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, only seven weeks prior. Emily and Bob were married on July 26, 1980. Together, they raised three beautiful children, whom were the greatest joys of their lives.

She is survived by children, Roger (Jeannie) Yount, Gina (Tim) Mlnarik, Jeffrey (Stevie) Yount, and her fur-baby, Freddie; grandchildren, Dallas, Anabel, Joey, Will, and Adeline; sisters, Jane Rohacek and Gerri LeBar; niece, Amy (Mike) Veney; nephew, Matt (Carin) Haas; along with several other nieces, nephews and friends.

Emily was a Field High School graduate and worked at East Manufacturing for many years. Anyone who new Emily knew how much she loved her children and grandchildren and would brag about them any chance she got, to anyone who would listen. Her favorite place in the world was on a beach and she loved a good margarita. She was a one-of-a-kind person who exuded pure, genuine love and kindness. She never failed to brighten up a room with her infectious smile and laugh. Emily fought until her last breath, surrounded by those who loved her so deeply. She is our hero and will be missed beyond words.

Cremation has already taken place and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville.

The family will have a private service. Condolences may be made mailed to 3117 Snowgoose Ln., Akron, OH 44319. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to One Of A Kind Pet Rescue in Akron at https://www.oneofakindpets.com/site/make-a-difference/.
