Judith A. James, 79, of Tallmadge, passed away March 6, 2023. She was born November 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Leslie and Dreama Robinson. She graduated with the class of 1961 from East High School, Akron. Judith worked many dedicated years with A.C.& Y. Credit Union and retired from City Service Company.
Judith enjoyed country dancing and RV traveling with her family. She had many achievements and interests in life, but her greatest passion was spending time with the family she loved so much.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Darrell "Bud" Robinson; sister Joan (Ray) Young; and nephew Douglas Young.

Judith is survived by her loving husband of more than 60 years, Stanley Mark James; daughter Christine Merriman; grandchildren Nicholas Merriman, and Ashley (Jon) LaDue; and two great-grandchildren Lincoln LaDue and Lively LaDue; niece Patti (John) Stubbs, nephews Joe Stubbs, and Keith (Danielle) Stubbs, and great nephew Carter Stubbs, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 13, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 6:00pm with Chaplain Terry Arnold officiating.
