Sue {Bonner} Jones
December 28, 1960-January 19, 2023

The strongest woman most of us will ever know lost her battle with Cancer on January 19th, 2023. As a child and through her entire life she was determined and strong. She loved with everything she had and never stopped loving those who had her heart.

She battled illness from her early twenties beating the odds time and time again. She was proud that she lived longer than expected to be there for her girls and anyone who needed her.

She loved music and she loved to sing. That love lives in her daughters to this day. The emotion she sang with was only matched by some of the greatest vocalists she sang to such as Dolly Parton and others. In her better years there was always a party when you visited Sue. A safe place to crash and be yourself.

There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do if she put her mind and her incredible will power to it. She was a school nurse, a housekeeper, and worked for a fish farm with exotic animals. A survivor of both a brown recluse bite and a piranha bite with the scars to prove it.

She loved being a mother and raised two girls who inherited her strength and her passion for music as well as her big heart.

She is survived by her children Penny and Erick Serrano, Rachel Kocisko. Her niece and nephew Kenny and Mindy Morgan who she considered children. Her grandchildren Mackenzee, Ethan, Chloe and Cameron. Her siblings Barbara and Buddy Morgan. David and Denise Bonner. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews that she loves very much.

She left us with the hope of seeing her Mother, Father and brother Jimmy and her son Anthony again. She has the hope of seeing all of her loved ones again including those that survived her in a promised paradise with no more sickness, tears or pain. Rev 21:3,4, Ps 37:10,11

Per Sue's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal services. To leave a message for her family, please scroll below.
