Debra A. Steele, 54, passed away on January 18, 2023. She was born on March 9, 1968 the daughter of Ross and Patricia Deerman. Debra graduated from Doylestown High School with the class of 1986. She was a woman of faith and was a member of Victory Chapel. She was a fan of Carrie Underwood and enjoyed listening to her gospel music. She had many accomplishments but her greatest was her love for her family. She will be missed greatly and will always be remembered especially for her loving heart, caring spirit, and sweet smile.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ross E. Deerman Jr.
Debra is survived by her loving family, her husband of 28 years, John R. Steele; children Johnny R. (Alyssa) Steele Jr., Matthew (Carla) Steele, and Elizabeth Steele; grandchildren Jaden, Alexis, Jaxon, Blake, Benjamin, and Rebecca; father Ross E Deerman Sr.; mother Patricia Deerman; sister and best-friend Joanna (Dale) Halun; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (January 25, 2023) from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 12:00pm with Pastor Robert Webb officiating.
Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
