Jamie Renee Boggs, age 51 of Akron, Ohio, died on January 13, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Canton.

She was born on December 8, 1971 in Akron, the daughter of James and Randi (nee Arnold) Hoover of Akron.

Jamie loved animals, especially dogs, music and her family. The biggest word to describe Jamie is that she was selfless, she was the first person to help anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, Jamie is survived by her loving husband, Allen Boggs, whom she married on August 8, 2021; and her daughter, Jade (Ryan Garrett) Patterson.

Her siblings also survive, Mendy (fiance, Brian Daniel) Hoover and Paige (Kevin) Bucklew; and her nephews, Connor and Cody Goodwill.

Her husband's family also survives, his mother, Joyce (nee Slack) Boggs; his siblings, Martin (Angie Brown) Boggs and Jason (Robin Groom) Boggs; and his nephew, Ethan Boggs; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that mourn her loss.

Those that preceded her in death are her grandparents, Arthur and Wanda (nee Barnes) Arnold and James and Leona (nee Doyle) Hoover.

A special thank you to her very best friend, Robin Groom, for always being by her side through thick and thin, especially through her illness.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal shelter of your choice in Jamie's memory.
