Angela V. Burgess, age 70 of Akron passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born in Clinton, SC on October 30, 1952 to David and Mary {Sturkey} Ferguson.

Angela will always be loved and dearly missed by her husband of 11 years, Albert Burgess; parents David and Mary Ferguson; children Shununa Williams and Shannon X. Mitchell; siblings David Ferguson Jr., Norman (Josephine) Ferguson, Lenard Ferguson, Kimberly Redman, Tammy (Jeffrey) Robinson and adopted sister Barbara (Henry) Lee; grandsons Aaron, Anthony and Autumn Mitchell; 8 great-grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Angela was a writer, playwright and producer at AIMbyDrama. She was a member of "The Faith Place," First Apostolic Faith Church and a true minister of faith. Angela's passion was for souls to be saved, and she used her message to bring others to know God as she did. She was also an incredible interior decorator; she had a love of collecting angels and putting up Christmas lights. Angela will be always missed by those who love her most.
