In Memory Of
Edward L. "Eddie" Pitman
1963 - 2022
Eddie will always be loved by his sister Tami (Jeff) Morgan; nephews Jared (Meghan) Morgan and Josh (Miranda) Morgan; great-niece Ellie Morgan; several cousins in WV; aunt Karen (Tom Jodon) Cooper; many dear friends; kitties George and Miss Kitty.
In 1965, Eddie and his parents moved from WV to Brimfield, where he graduated from Field High School in 1981. He began his career as a truck driver, first with Blue Linx and then with Enterprise Plastics. Eddie was a very hard worker, and a very caring person. He followed his nephew's careers in football, basketball, track and cross country, and never missed a game or a meet. Eddie was a devoted son to his mother when their father passed away in 1992, and made sure she was always taken care of, and had a good life. He loved his family dearly, and was a great son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and most of all, a beloved friend. He will be deeply missed by so many.
All are welcome at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. until the celebration of Eddie's life begins at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to One of a Kind Pets, https://www.oneofakindpets.com/site/make-a-difference/.
