In Memory Of
Helen R. Trennell
1963 - 2022

Helen R. Trennell, 58, beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, went home to be with the Lord on August 5th, 2022. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, she resided in the Akron area most of her life, where she worked as an office administrator in various industries.

A former league bowler, Longaberger basket connoisseur, amateur home decorator, and “pro” Amazon shopper, she spent her time socializing with friends, collecting books with hours spent reading, and hosting family get-togethers.

Helen never met a stranger; they were just friends she hadn’t met yet. Her beautiful spirit and outgoing personality made her fast friends with most that crossed her path. She loved her church family, loved Jesus, and knew that one day she would find peace in His arms when her time had come.

Preceded in death by her mother, Coral Louise Morris, she will be greatly missed by her children, Jennifer (Haseeb) Shaikh, Ryan VanHorn, Jordan Eldredge, Kyle Eldredge, Scot (Olivia) Hower, Alec Hower; grandchildren, Earl Baker, Ethan Baker, Lola VanHorn; father; Ronald Morris; sister, Rhonda Cahill; nephew; Andrew Cahill, and many more loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
