Adam D. King, age 86 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on July 31, 2022.

He was born on January 24, 1936 in Marietta, Ohio, the son of the late John and Ella (nee Sombaty) King.

Adam was an honorably discharged US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Adam was a lifetime employee at Wilkinson Chutes Company. He enjoyed bowling for many years being on several leagues. His greatest love was his family, who will cherish his memory.

Survivors include his children, Eric "Rick" (Sandra) King, Julie (Joel) Rositer, Constance "Connie" King and Aaron (Janice) King; his grandchildren, Sherrilee King, Aric King, Alex (Gretchen) Bruinsma, Joel Rositer and Gavin King; and his great-grandchildren, Easton King, Wyatt King and one on the way.

Other than his parents, Adam was preceded in death by his wife, the former Rosa Carpenter, she preceded him in death on January 31, 1994, they were united in marriage on March 23, 1962; and his siblings, John "Jack" Henry King Jr, Leslie King, Marcella McVey and Earl Herbert King.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday evening, August 8, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
