Michael E. Hopkins, 64, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022 after an extended illness. Mike was born November 22, 1957 in Akron, Ohio and he attended Stow schools. He lived a quiet life and chose life's simple pleasures over earthly possessions. Mike had a love for rock and roll music, football and history. He could talk politics for hours.
He will be sadly missed by parents, Don (Sherry) Hopkins, Dorothy Cain; siblings, Tom Hopkins, Teri (Paul) Beeman; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mike's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
