Janet Lee Riley, 75, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022, only 3 days after her birthday. Born in Akron, Ohio to Louis and Betty (Shumaker) Church, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a longtime member of Portage Lakes Community Church. Janet enjoyed cross stitching and she loved watching the Cleveland Guardians play baseball.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley and son, Bryan Riley, both in 2019. She will be sadly missed by daughters, Tanya (Richard) Krownapple, Nicole Riley (Stephanie Cathcart); grandchildren, Abigail Riley, Kyle Krownapple, Kasson Krownapple; siblings, Judith Church, Denny (Cathy) Church.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Janet's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Janet's name to the Community Church of Portage Lakes.
