In Memory Of
Kenneth Eric Beers
1967 - 2022

Kenneth Eric Beers, known as Eric to friends and family, 55 years old, of Akron, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2022.

Eric graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and went on to hold chef positions at Great Lakes Brewing Company and Willoughby Brewing Company. Eric and his family were proud of his culinary mastership and accomplishments.

Eric, like his father Kenny, loved Hot Wheels and was a collector and enthusiast. He always wanted to go Hot Wheel hunting with his kids, searching isles for rare treasures.

Eric loved laughing and loved making others laugh, telling jokes and pulling pranks. He was an avid reader, loved history and often shared what he learned. He liked watching movies and TV shows and enjoyed talking about them with his children even more. Always quoting a line from a movie, he knew his kids enjoyed when he was around them.

Eric Beers, beloved father, son, brother and nephew and cousin, was a kind man who knew how to use his humor, culinary skills, and loved to make everyone smile.

Family members who preceded Eric in death include Kenneth Beers and Andrea Beers Robinson.

Eric will be missed by his children: Maxwell Beers (Mayzie), Benjamin Beers (Angie), Jackson Beers (Cam), and Roxanna Beers. Family and loved ones left behind include Charmaine Reese (Richard), Laura Gorka (Jim), Christine Snow, Michael Snow, Logan Gorka, Connor Gorka, Anita Muro and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm with the funeral service at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.

The family requests that visitors, please take care to wear a mask for the visitation.
