Patricia Mae Sabo, age 83 of Akron passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born on April 26, 1938 in Akron, the daughter of the late Roy and Eleanor {Mills} Morris.

Patricia was set up on a blind date on New Years Eve of 1956 with the love of her life, Frank Sabo, whom she married on June 15, 1957.

From that marriage came three children, Craig Sabo, Shaunna (John) Fanady and Kevin Sabo; five grandchildren, Justin Fanady, Daniel Sabo, Marissa Fanady, Derek Sabo and Rachael Fanady. Also surviving is one sister Nordine Cross; sister-in-law, Pat (Steve) Flock; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that mourn Patricia's life; and her beloved little beagle, Skipper.

Other than her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sabo; daughter-in-law, Judy Sabo; her siblings Roy Morris Jr., Virginia Morris and Marie Reese.

Patricia doted on all of her children, grandchildren, and neighborhood birds and squirrels, and made sure they were taken care of. With all of Patricia's responsibilities and people to care for, she never missed a day of work.

Family and friends may visit from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating. For those of you attending, we ask that those who feel comfortable, to please wear a mask.
