Linda L. Parrott, 60, passed away on January 7, 2022. She was born on May 19, 1961 the daughter of the late James and Wilma Woods. She was a woman of great faith and attended the Akron Baptist Temple. She enjoyed listening and singing to music. With her laughter, love, faith, wisdom and compassion she touched and altered many hearts and she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her husband Wayne Parrott; sons Melvin (Jess) Parrott and Jason (Amanda Workinger) Parrott; beloved granddaughter Madeline Parrott; siblings Karen Lockhart, Carolyn Woods and Danny Woods; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday (January 22, 2022) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd. Akron) where a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Ernie Kimbell officiating.
