Jacqueline Mae Betleyoun Jones, 77, passed away with family by her side on November 24, 2021. She was a longtime resident of the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls area. Jackie worked for several years at BF Goodrich while raising her family and later retired as the dietary manager at Sumner on Ridgewood.
Jackie will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. She was caring and generous, with a wonderful sense of humor. She truly supported and loved everyone in her life. She will be deeply missed by all.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marion Kuzia Sr.; her husband, Dennis Betleyoun; and brother, John Kuzia Jr.
She is survived by her children, Allison (Griff) Sweet, David (Theresa) Krichbaum, and Jason (Jennifer) Betleyoun; husband, Bill Jones; siblings, Joan (Walt) Storms, Jerry (Debbie) Kuzia, and Jill (Todd) Schneider; grandchildren, Kellie, Hollee, and Nicholas Fleming, David (Lindsey) and Jonathan (McKenzie) Krichbaum, Corbin and Claire Betleyoun great-grandchildren, Dominic, Kennedy, Lucas, Nixon, Adriel, Levi, and Finn; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
