Edward "Ed" Mathers, age 85 of Uniontown, passed away on November 15, 2021.

Ed was born in Akron, Ohio on October 29, 1936 to George and Doris (Anderson) Mathers. He graduated from Ellet High School in 1955. Ed married his high school sweetheart, Janice in 1955, whom he was married to until she passed away in 2015. He retired from Goodyear as a tire builder after 42 years of service. Ed loved his family and was a great provider.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Janice, and brother, Richard Mathers.

Ed will be deeply missed by his children, Tracey Mathers Bermingham, George R. Mathers, and Michelle Mathers, grandchildren, Julie (Robert) Dittman, Michael Gehring, and Jennifer (Ben) Bishop, great-grandchildren, Emily Dittman, Kaitlyn Feller, Allison Dittman, sister, Linda Kronenthal, sister-in-law, Lisa Hine, special friend, Rae Calli, his furry companion, Woofie, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private family service will be held.
