In Memory of Thomas & Marilyn Wensel

Thomas “Tom” Lee Wensel Sr. passed on from this life on November 10, 2021. Born in Canton, Ohio, he grew up in North Canton and spent most of his adult life in Hartville. He was a Navy veteran of Viet Nam and enjoyed recalling tales of his time aboard ship and the various ports he visited across the globe. His other hobbies included collecting antique radio equipment, coming up with new ideas and inventions, and puttering around his garage building various machines. He was often a difficult and stubborn man, and his family hopes he finds the peace he never seemed to have in his life on this earth. The loves of his life were his home, his belongings, and his wife, Marilyn, who preceded him in death.

Marilyn Ann (Yeager) Wensel passed on from this life on March 21, 2019. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, she spent most of her young life competitively showing horses and growing show roses for competition. She spent her adult life in Hartville. She worked hard throughout her life to take care of her family, raise her sons, and create a loving home. Her passions included spending time with her grandchildren, growing roses and other flowers in the garden, and a love of animals, especially horses. She was a wonderful mother and is dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

Tom and Marilyn are survived by their sons Jonathan and Thomas (Danielle), grandchildren Thomas, Michael, Joseph, Jessica, Andrew, Elizabeth, Heavenly-Ann, and Neveah, and 9 great-grandchildren.
