1929 - 2021

Betty E. Frisbee, born July 29, 1929 to John and Dora Jaynes, passed peacefully into the arms of God on Friday, October 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Kenneth Lee Frisbee on October 21, 2017. She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ from age 19 until her passing. She was a true Pastor's wife. They shared a love for God, for each other, for family, for friends, and for numerous church family members. They were an amazing, outstanding team in a ministry that lasted over 64 years. She was the sweetest, most generous, kindest, loving lady who touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She daily demonstrated and witnessed the love of God to all she met. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Lee Frisbee Jr. (Nancy) of Marion, NC and Dennis Wayne Frisbee (Lois) of Brimfield, OH; sisters, Margie Boyd and Martha Gibbs (Jim); brothers, Harold (Helen), Jack, Dave (Deanna), Donald, Roy (Lisa) and Mike (Debbie); seven grandchildren, Kenny III (Laura), Todd (Lesley), Sheila (Dave) Bauer, Roy (Kerri), Dave (Kelly), Megan, and John; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, October 19 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. in Akron. Funeral service will take place at 1:30pm on Wednesday, October 20. Rev. Ron Carver officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron to follow.
