Julia "Julie" Anne Zickefoose, age 55 of Uniontown, passed away on October 12, 2021 peacefully in her home.

Julie was born on June 21, 1966 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Jerry and Mary (Heffron) Scott. Julie graduated from Port Clinton High School and then received her Master's of Science in Audiology from The University of Akron. She has been with Ohio Head and Neck Surgeons in Canton since 1997. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has her certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Julie enjoyed doing crafts, especially scrap booking. Julie was an avid amateur photographer. She was a member of Uniontown United Methodist Church in Uniontown, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Leona Zickefoose.

Julie is survived by her parents, her loving husband of 29 years, Dane, children, Bridgette (David Honeck) Zickefoose, Justin Zickefoose, father-in-law, Earl Zickefoose, brother-in-law, Dale Zickefoose, sister-in-law, Diane (Al Soles) Maynard, sister, Laurel (Jason) Giddings, multiple cousins and other family members.

Friends and family may come to call on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
