He was born in Akron on January 19, 1960, the son of the late Glenn Albert and Mildred "Micki" (nee Norman) Clark.
Glenn was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a truck driver for XPO Logistics in Lordstown. Glenn was a volunteer for close to 25 years at Kenmore Youth Football. He loved to fish, boat, grill, and watch the Browns and Ohio State; he also liked to camp, tinker with everything and work on his pond. Glenn was in attendance at many of his grandchildren's events. He enjoyed his family above all.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Tracy Patton, whom he married on August 1, 1990; his children, Jeremy (Amy) Patton, Jenifer (Charles Jackson) Jones, Patrick Finley, Glenn E. (Annabelle) Clark Jr and Bill (Amber) Clark; his grandchildren, Carter, Jackson, Braxton, Kylee, Calvin, Jesse, Joseph, Victoria and Matthew. His best friend and companion, Bella, his lab.
His sister survives, Cheryl (Mike) Kusmits, as well as, his step-father, Bill Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by two sisters, Cindy Knox and Cathy Jarvis.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Craig D'Anniballe will celebrate Glenn's life.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
