Donald Lee Norman Sr., "Don", age 86 of Lakemore, Ohio, died on September 20, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on May 30, 1935 in Akron, the son of the late Leeodis and Audrey (nee Headly) Norman.
Don loved the Lord, and his family and friends.
He ran the streaming camera at church so that people may take advantage of services if they were unable to attend, especially at this time during the pandemic.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Gayle McNichols, whom he married on February 19, 2005; his sons, Donald Lee Norman Jr., Diana McCort, Duane Norman and Dale Norman; five step-children; several grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
His siblings also survive, Dan, Phillip and Sylvia.
Memorial services will take place at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 939 Utica Road, Akron, Ohio, on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
