Patricia Anne Ellet, age 78 of Akron went home to join her husband Chuck in Heaven on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born in Warren, OH on March 2, 1943 to the late Jack (Jean) Rule and Alice {Pierce} Rule.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Ellet; brothers Jack, Bob and Kenny Rule; step-brother Jimmy Thomason; step-sister Colleen (Clyde) Anthony; brother-in-law Tom Walker; sister-in-law Nydah Ellet.

Pat's memory will always be cherished by her daughters Becki (Ted) Caputo and Jennifer (Shawn) Stalnaker; grandchildren Natasja, Shawn and Roni; great-grandchildren Waylon and soon-to-be Westlon; brothers David (Barb) and Dick (Eileen) Rule; sisters Sharon Walker and Debbie (Allen) Christopher; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Pat was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had a generous heart, especially when it came to her church family. Pat was involved in the Holy Name Society, and the Council of Catholic Women. She was involved in numerous bowling leagues, where she made many dear friends. Pat and Chuck were involved in community theater together, with Pat on Props and Chuck on the stage. Her family likes to think that now, they will have front row seats to their favorite shows together.

All are welcome to visit on Tuesday, September 21 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne St. Akron, 44312 on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Michael Williamson officiating.
