John W. Pniaczek
1938 - 2021

John W. Pniaczek "Johnny Strum", 83, passed away September 13, 2021 at home with his family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Tony and Mary (Drozdik) Pniaczek, he had resided in Mogadore the past 16 years. John was a U. S. Army Veteran and he belonged to the Antique Automobile Association, Charter Member of the Ohio Country & Western Music Association, Turner Club, Moose Club, and Eagles Club. He co-founded Albrecht Towing in the mid 1960's with his brother Tony. The company later expanded into producing Model A Ford reproduction car parts. At that time, his brother Donald joined the company. Donald’s knowledge and experience was a huge benefit in producing additional new parts. One of John’s favorite things to do was going to the Hershey antique swap meet, where he spent time with his many Hershey friends. John was an accomplished musician and songwriter who enjoyed singing and playing stringed instruments, restoring vintage cars, drag racing and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, John, siblings, Millie, Tony, Carl, Mary and Ruth. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Dorothy Justice; step-daughters, Georgina (Andy) Little, Deborah Parks; grandchildren, Heavenne, Kitaira, Skylar, Madison, Austin, Anthony, Laura, Sage, Aiden; great granddaughter, Amarah; brother and best friend, Donald (Mary Jane); many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of John's Life at New Era Restaurant, 10 Massillon Rd. beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
