Leonard M. "Mike" Gresham
1936 - 2021

Leonard M. “Mike” Gresham, 84 of Akron, Ohio passed away on September 13, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 26, 1936 to the late Leonard K. and Garnet (Patterson) Gresham. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia (Pat). He will be dearly missed by his children, Tom (Barb), Ted (Stephanie), Trent (Kim), and Denny (Carol); grandchildren, Doug, Jim, Matt, Jonathan, Dawn, LeeAnna, Patricia (P.J.), Jessica, Jared, David, Raymond, Alex and Aaron; and 16 great grandchildren. Mike graduated from Central High School in 1955 and was employed by the Ohio Bell Telephone Company from which he retired after 37 years of service. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. He enjoyed and supported the Akron Bowling leagues and Women’s Softball leagues. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to your church or favorite charity in his name. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, September 17, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio; with funeral services being held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 18, 2021 where family and friends may visit from 10:00 am until the time of the service, officiated by Pastor Tom Gresham.
